Irish Music Train Wreck

We just wrapped up playing a local annual music festival and things didn't quite go the way they should have. Initially the Heathens were booked for a 40 min set in the middle of the festival. That's the only reason we took the gig (after getting screwed last year.) However, when the band schedule came out we were cut to 30 minutes and moved to the bottom of the program. But.... that wasn't the end. Our time got cut again once we were on the stage.

There were plenty of other problems as well. The crowd was at least 75% smaller than last year's, (due to a venue change) and as I talked with members of other groups I heard nothing but bad about the way they were treated by concert organizers, while performing for far less then they normally charge.
It appears some changes need made if this festival is going to make it. Two years in.... and the Heathens are not impressed!

Oh well.... At least the girls from The Whole Shebang were there!

Screw you once, shame on them. Screw you twice........... I wouldn't want to have to recruit talent for them next year!
