I HATE WINTER

I guess it's about time for a new post. Last week I played a grave side service for a Vietnam Army Veteran. It's always an honor for me to pay tribute to our nations heroes. Anyway... the interment was at Camp Williams Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Nice place, but way to windy for a winter day. The outside temperature was 29 with a wind chill factor of negative something horrendous. Long story short... by the end of the very speedy dedication and military service I had a quarter inch ice sickle on the bottom of my chanter. I wish I had my camera with me.

On a warmer note. The Heathens played a show for the Granite School District executive staff last Saturday. It was held at one of Utah's finest restaurants, La Caille. We were invited to dine and play after dinner. It was nice. You know... the company was good... the food was exquisite... the entertainment was outstanding!!! Ha. Here are a few pics from the evening.

Are you guys going to be playing at the St Patty's day parade at the Gateway?

We are not playing the parade, but we will be doing tons of bar shows throughout the weekend and on St Pat's. Schedule soon to come.
